This is the first post! I'll keep you updated on Avi's Life and tell you about some of the things she's up to and little tidbits that make her so cute.
Lately Avi started 'applying lotion' to us. Rachel or I will be doing something when we suddenly feel a little paw on our leg or arm. When we look, Avi is standing next to us with a bottle of lotion in one hand while the other gently rubs the lotion in (which of course is not actually lotion, just pretend). Then she 'dispenses' some more and goes in for applying another layer.
We don't have a picture of that, but here's a picture of Avi last weekend with Maven Stasila. Maven is the daughter of Craig and Laura who live in Indianapolis. Craig was my good friend growing up and we keep in touch. They visited Boston last weekend and the kiddos got to hang out. I wouldn't call it playing togehter, more playing individually in a shared space.
